Our Story
Hello Universe was created in Toronto during the 2018 NASA Space Apps Challenge. Space Apps is an international hackathon that occurs over 48 hours in cities around the world. Participants solve NASA challenges and collaborate to share ideas and engage with open data to address real-world problems, on Earth and in space.
The challenge our team took on was to "Remix the Golden Record". The challenge was to: develop a concept for a time capsule with content to educate an extraterrestrial civilization about human culture and our solar system.
